How do you play a jigsaw puzzle online with friends?

Create a room for free (your own image or the daily puzzle, 12 to 200 pieces), then share the invite link: friends join in one click, up to 4 players, no account or sign-up needed.

Is Pieces & Friends free?

Yes, the game is completely free, with no account and no download: everything runs in the browser, on desktop, tablet or mobile.

What is the daily puzzle?

Every day at midnight, a new picture from Wikimedia's pictures of the day becomes the daily puzzle: every player gets the same puzzle and can compare times.

Two teams, Red and Blue, get the same puzzle and race in real time: the first team to finish wins, with bonus items to slow the other team down.

How to play?

1. Create a room

Pick an image (or the daily puzzle), choose 12 to 200 pieces, then share the code or the invite link: your friends join in one click, up to 4 players.

2. Solve it together

Everyone moves, rotates and fits pieces in real time, with every player’s cursor visible. Matching pieces snap together on release, and groups move as one.

3. Pick your mode

Co-op to finish the puzzle together, the Daily puzzle to compete with the whole world on the same image, or Red vs Blue Versus with bonus items to slow the other team down.

Tips: mouse wheel to zoom, drag the background to pan, R rotate, G groups, I image preview, Space multi-select.

Intro video — coming soon

Create a room with your image (or the daily puzzle), invite up to 3 friends with the code or the link, and solve the same puzzle all at once: everyone’s cursors and pieces move live.

Matching pieces snap together on release, groups move as one, and when the last piece lands… confetti for everyone.

Versus mode

Intro video — coming soon

Team Red vs Team Blue: each team gets its own copy of the same puzzle, in its half of the screen. The first team to finish wins the game.

With items enabled, a gauge fills up during the game and unlocks dirty tricks to throw at the other team: blackout, fog, tiny pieces… all the way to Godot the cat, who sweeps their pieces away with one paw. The trailing team gets a boost to catch up.

Puzzle chess

A two-player duel, chess style: the puzzle frame is already assembled in the middle, and each player has their own clock. A coin toss decides who starts.

On your turn, your clock runs: as soon as you fit a piece, it is your opponent’s turn and their clock starts. The game ends when a clock hits zero (the other player wins) or when the puzzle is complete: the player with the most time left wins.
